Nine Andalusian startups in the Top 101 most innovative in Spain. (opens in a new tab)

Andalucía Emprende reports that nine Andalusian startups were selected in the third edition of Top101 Spain Up Nation, promoted by ENISA and the regional development agencies to recognise the innovative companies with the most growth potential in Spain. VivoXpand is one of the three from Sevilla, described as a longevity and health biotech that develops and sells nutraceutical supplements such as SiestaK and Blupill, with a research subsidiary at Biopôle in Epalinges.

VivoXpand was selected among the Top 101 Spain Up Nation companies.

The 10th Dualiza call selects the 40 most innovative vocational training projects in the country. (opens in a new tab)

The 10th Dualiza call funds 40 vocational training projects for the 2026–2027 school year. One of them is BiolongFP, led by IES Renacimiento, a public secondary and vocational school in Madrid: “implementation of a preclinical analysis unit for the evaluation of biomarkers in longevity studies”, research on anti-aging therapies guided by a company specialised in the sector.

BiolongFP is our joint project with IES Renacimiento. VivoXpand (VivoArchitect Ibérica, S.L.) is the specialised company guiding the research.

A profile of how VivoXpand started in Sevilla: co-founders Alberto Parras, Hipólito Lobato and Manuel León, from biotechnology at Universidad Pablo de Olavide to the Biopole in Lausanne, and how VivoXpand grew out of VivoArchitect’s in vivo research, with programmes such as AlpineFlame, FertilityXpan and Blupill.
